The University of Chicago Divinity School aims to convene communities of support and creative imagining to conceive of and live out a good life in the face of climate change through the project titled, “Living Well During Climate Change.” They are doing this through a year-long discussion group comprised of current MDiv students at the University of Chicago and local faith leaders. Additionally, they will host a one-day conference to explore such issues with religious leaders, environmental scholars, and students. This conference will involve scholarly presentations as well as embodied activities that invite participants to engage their daily realities of living during climate change. They will prioritize participation from Chicago-area leaders, as well as students and scientists from this University, to build local relationships, which we anticipate will better enable climate collaboration.
