Seventh-Day Adventist Theological Seminary, Andrews University

SDAT-AU

Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University expands on their past work in the Science for Seminaries project, “Facilitating Science-Theology Dialogue” (2018-2019), by highlighting connections between care for the environment and theologically-informed leadership though “Science-informed Creation Care Ministry.” The grant project, led by Dr. Martin Hanna, supports a faculty workshop to introduce ecology, climatology, and environmental science with the aim of advancing engagement with science resources in both classroom and ministry contexts. A public “Creation Care Conference” be held on campus, bringing forward scientific voices into dialogues that can raise awareness about the theological and pastoral relevance of science-informed creation care.
