The goal of this project, “Body, Mind, & the Holy Spirit: Creating a Church Culture of Health, ” is to train the leadership of Nashville Life Church on health-related topics – from public health to mental health – and model for others in their tradition the importance of science/medicine for a church that wants to contribute to a culture of health and well-being.

They will develop resource guides and a topical bible study for regular use in the congregation and for use by others who share their faith tradition. Additionally, they will host a church health-fair as an opportunity for leadership to put everything they’ve learned into practice; train more leaders; and affirm the value of science, faith, and medicine to the broader congregation and community.

Nashville Life Church is a non-denominational multi-generational church rooted in the charismatic tradition, and led by Pastor Alvin Love III. The project involves external collaborations between Science for the Church (SftC), Congregational Health and Educational Network (CHEN), and the Mount Carmell Worship Collective (MCWC).
