Denver Seminary

Denver Seminary will revise four core courses to include content from the history and philosophy of science, neuroscience, astronomy, geology, biology, and geography. A central theme that will run through our curriculum integration is the question: What does it mean to be human?

The project also includes a campus-wide event (including online and extension site campuses) focused on the theme: Science and the Church. While the overall theme of the event will be Science and the Church, we will hone in on our grant project’s main question, “What does it mean to be human?” Matters of mental health, cultural issues related to personhood, biological identity, and the very work of scientists and pastors will play a part in the event.
